The first event of its kind in over five years, the Michigan Region invites all those in the club and their friends and families for what we are calling the "Portofino Boat Cruise".

This will be your chance to hang out with friends and family on the water enjoying the Michigan coast on the Detroit River.  After the thre-hour cruise, those who wish to dine at the restaurant are welcome to join us (additional cost, pay your own way, etc.).

The schedule is as follows:
11:30AM	Meet at the dock, board the ship
12:00 Noon	Ship leaves dock.  No coolers or outside beverages allowed.
3:00PM	Dinner at Portofino Restaurant (private room, additional cost)

Beverage service will be available on-board during the cruise.  The ship will leave the dock promptly at Noon, so don't be late!  The boat has shelter in case it rains, but it's looking good so far for Sunday! (Check the forecast here or any site you wish.)

Bob and Kathy Parpart are currently taking names and payments for this outing.  Since we have met our minimum for the cruise, last minute boarders are allowed.  Make checks payable to "LCOC - Michigan Region".

Contact Bob or Kathy to make special arrangements if you still wish to attend.  As of August 13, we had 79 committed to attending.  It should be quite a fun time.

Reserved parking for the group will be in the lot closest to Biddle Street.  Lincoln attendance is encouraged, but not required.  We're going on a boat!
