Fort St. from Southfield Road to Sibley Road

GENERAL INFORMATION:
The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. and cruise through the cites of Lincoln Park, Wyandotte, Southgate and Riverview. There is no registration fee for the cruise itself. Preferred access to the cruise route is Southfield Freeway, but other access will be permitted. Car clubs seeking areas to congregate should call the appropriate person listed below for each city. They will have information or other contacts to call to arrange parking on private property. Each city on the route will enforce a strict code of conduct to ensure public safety; speeding, drag racing, hole shots or laying rubber will be not tolerated. Violators will be ticketed and removed from the cruise. Unless otherwise marked, the two curb lanes of northbound and southbound Fort Street will be designated for the cruise. Since Fort Street will remain open for other traffic, the traffic signals will remain operational and must be observed by all.

Anyone wishing to sell merchandise or food during the cruise must secure a license from the city in which they will locate. Food and beverage sales also will require an additional license from Wayne County, so applications to the cities should be no later than 14 days in advance of the event.

In addition to the cruise itself, a number of cities in the Downriver area are scheduling other events to coincide with the cruise. This information will be posted on this site as soon as it becomes available.
