Local Event: Waterfront Tour

24 August 2008
John Dustin has once again organized another mini tour for the Michigan Region so we can get out and enjoy our Lincons on the road and the company of our friends off the road.  Here is the schedule:

8:30AM: We will start the day with breakfast in St. Clair Shores at the Big Boy at 9 Mile and Jefferson.  Everyone is responsible for their own bills, of course.

10:00AM: We will mosey down the road to the Edsel & Eleanor Ford Estate for photo ops in front of the estate.

10:30AM-12:30PM: For those who have paid for the tour, we will see the Edsel & Eleanor Ford Estate.  They are opening earlier than normal for our group.

12:30-1:30PM: The group will take a one hour drive enjoying the waterfront scenery on our way to Marine City.  Lincolns with CBs and modern walkie talkies can keep in touch on the way.

1:30-2:30PM: Picnic time in Marine City.  John has selected a location and will lead the group there.  Please pack a picnic lunch if you don't want to be hungry for the museum tour.  Otherwise, you may have to pick something up.

2:30-3:15PM: We will make a stop for ice cream then head to the Wills Sainte Claire Museum.

3:15-end: Tour of the Wills Sainte Claire Museum.  Admission is $5 per person and payable at the door.
