The Kiwanis Club of Whitmore Lake again takes pride in sponsoring the Independence Day Parade on Saturday, July 4th, 2009 along with the Horseshoe Lake Corporation and with the support of Horseshoe Lake Corp and National City Bank. Together with the Independence Day Committee, we hope that you will enjoy the plans we have made for this year’s celebration of Independence Day 2009.

This will mark the 50th annual parade in Whitmore Lake and our theme this year will be “America: Past, Present, Future”.  We want to make this year's parade the biggest and best ever.

Michigan LCOC members are invited to participate by driving their Lincolns in the parade. To participate, you must fill out this form (Adobe Acrobat required to print) and mail it George Brown at the address below before June 24th.  Plan on arriving at the entrance to North main off Main Street across of the Dirt Squirt Car Wash at 9893 N. Main to get your line-up location.  Line up will begin at 10:30AM and should be completed by 11:30AM in order to start the parade at Noon.  LCOC members should line up by car year, oldest first.
